2023 Revisited: A Look Back At Our First Year

As we come to the close of a year beyond all expectation, we mark the culmination of our first year in business. Since our doors swung open on January 3rd, we’ve seen unwavering support from both longstanding and newfound members, who are not just clients but members of the Coach House Fitness family. Their invaluable support has propelled us to our current standing, and we extend tremendous gratitude to each and every one of them.

Changes at the club have included additional equipment to increase the scope of training options, alongside the launching of a range of free classes for all members, and student and junior memberships have been introduced to widen access. A collaboration with Blush HQ has also seen the arrival of the esteemed beauty salon onto the premises.  Furthermore, the summer saw us joined by specialist Mike de Coster-Milman for an intensive summer bootcamp on the bowling green.

From the triumphant Rowathon Challenge, raising over £750 for Jay Moore’s Mayor Charity Fund, to the heartwarming scenes at the Community Games, where two six-year-olds clinched the record for the longest plank, every moment has been cherished.

Our team has flourished, with the arrival of new instructors Liam and Isabelle, and Luke expanding his role to introduce Personal Training and Online Coaching. Welcoming our newest member, Callum, currently undergoing Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications at Shrewsbury College, underscores the continuous growth of our team, positioning us strongly for 2024.

Wrapping up the year with festive merriment, our Christmas Party, hosted by the Wynnstay Hotel, was a joyous affair attended by members and our own staff as well as those from Bush HQ beauty. An evening of laughter, spirited games, and dancing was enjoyed by all.

Anticipating the new year, exciting developments are on the horizon, with a game-changing announcement in the coming weeks. Stay tuned as we embark on the next chapter of our journey in 2024!
